Just this March, New York celebrated the 2nd Annual New York Wine Expo.  In here people were able to taste wines from all around the globe, all in just one place.  People tasted wines ranging from New World Wines to French or Italian favourites, and there were even local New York and California wines.  With the wine expo, people were able to taste the sample products of different wine makers which totalled to approximately one hundred and seventy wines and they were given a chance as well to have a small talk with the wine makers.
This wine expo was held at the Jacob K. Javits Convention Centre and many New York hotels gave discounted rates to those who attended the expo. Hotels such as the Hilton Garden Inn Times Square in 8th Avenue, was amongst these hotels.
